Position: Senior Business Consultant


Remote, UK / Full-time

We support with our clients, household names in Fashion and General Merchandise, with thought provoking ideas and solutions across the Planning, Pricing, and Digital Transformation spaces.


As part of our global team of Consultants, you will contribute your intellectual and practical expertise by generating new ideas and conceptual frameworks on each project to solve problems and drive out insightful fact-based analysis and recommendations.


You will actively help clients achieve their target strategic, operational, and financial goals, and with your retail industry or consulting background and TPC's proven methodologies, you will be providing practical solutions for clients that have measurable and lasting results.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver ground-breaking solutions addressing the intricate challenges of Planning, Pricing, Analytics, and Digital transformation.

  • Directly orchestrate workshops centered on business requirements, critically evaluating the as-is state and envisioning the transformative to-be phase. 

  • Spearhead comprehensive analyses, delineating business needs in terms of operations, technological enhancements, and personnel management. 

  • Curate and present high-level insights and strategic directives stemming from client interactions and workshops to top-tier executives. 

  • Cultivate and nurture executive-level relationships with our clients, emphasizing honesty, and customer-focused engagements. 

  • Lead client relationship management initiatives, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and priorities while fostering long-term, trust-based partnerships. 

  • Develop and manage key accounts, ensuring that client expectations are consistently exceeded and exploring avenues for further collaboration. 

  • Drive business development efforts, identifying opportunities within existing client networks and forging new client partnerships. 

  • Lead in-depth analyses of industry trends, competitor benchmarks, and company-specific strategies for enhanced market positioning.


  • Proactively contribute to TPC’s internal strategies, enriching our offerings with your industry insights and visionary solutions. 

Skills & Experience: Essential

  • 7-12 years of experience in retail merchandising, analytics, or consulting.

  • Expert in synthesizing complex information, delivering logical, and streamlined solutions.

  • Advanced analytical acumen, coupled with proficiency in handling extensive data sets.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, underlined by meticulous attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated excellence in engaging and influencing top-tier leadership.

  • Comprehensive understanding of global merchandising intricacies, pricing strategies, product lifecycles, and business transformations in the multi-channel retail landscape.

  • Familiarity with the core systems and overarching architectures prevalent in retail.

  • Exceptional skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Skills & Experience:

  • A distinguished career in retail or consulting, particularly in merchandise planning, buying, supply chain, or IT integrations.

  • Deep knowledge of pivotal retail sectors and supply chain verticals.

  • A strong understanding of technological principles and analytical frameworks.

  • Proven track record in major software implementation projects.
